Fitment & Compatibility

This catback exhaust system is engineered specifically for the 2022–2025 Ford Maverick equipped with the 2.0L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine, in both FWD and AWD configurations. It is not compatible with Maverick Hybrid (FHEV) models. Fitment on the 2025 model year has not been confirmed by Stainless Works — please verify before purchasing for a 2025+ Maverick. This system is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement from the catalytic converter back and does not require modification to the factory exhaust hangers.

Is this system CARB compliant? This catback system operates entirely downstream of the catalytic converter and does not affect the vehicle's emissions control equipment. However, always verify compliance with your local and state emissions regulations before installation.

Do I need a tune after installing this catback? A tune is not required for the catback alone, as it does not affect engine management sensors. However, if pairing with the Stainless Works downpipe (FMAVDP), a tune is recommended to maximize performance gains.

Installation

The Stainless Works FMAVCB is a bolt-on cat-back installation accessible to experienced DIYers — no welding required. Use of a vehicle lift is strongly recommended for ease of access; if using a floor jack, the vehicle must be on a level hard surface with jack stands for safety. Installation involves loosening the factory clamp behind the flex pipe, removing the three OEM rubber hangers, and assembling the new system front-to-back, snugging clamps as you go and final-tightening all clamps from front to rear once aligned. All necessary hardware is included. Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable working under a vehicle.
