Installation

Installation is a straightforward DIY bolt-on procedure requiring no professional labor. Using an 8mm socket and ratchet, remove the two mounting bolts securing each factory tail light, unclip the factory connector, and remove the assembly. Feed the included tail-to-tail harness through the passenger-side lower cavity and route it along the painted frame above the spare tire to the driver's side. Mount the included resistors to the vehicle body below each tail light cavity using their integrated magnet mounts — no drilling required. Plug the new tail light into the factory vehicle connector, connect the tail-to-tail harness, attach the resistor, and tuck all wiring neatly into the cavity.
