Fitment & Compatibility

This kit provides direct fitment for the 2022–2024 Ford Maverick (all trims). It mounts two SSC1 Pro LED pods underneath the factory rear bumper using vehicle-specific, CAD-designed brackets that utilize existing factory bolt locations — no bumper modification required. Important Note: The C1 Pro Reverse Light Kit is not compatible with the Diode Dynamics C1 HitchMount Kit; if you wish to run both a bumper-mount kit and a hitch-mount pod, please select the C1 Sport Reverse Light Kit (DD7754) instead. This kit is also not compatible with C1R LED pods.

Is this kit compatible with my Maverick if it doesn't have a tow package? Yes — this C1 Pro kit connects to the factory tail light wiring (not the hitch connector), making it compatible with all 2022+ Maverick variants regardless of tow package or hitch receiver presence.

Installation

This is a bolt-on, plug-and-play installation that requires no cutting, drilling, or permanent modification to the factory bumper. Using a 7mm socket, remove the two innermost factory bolts on the back of the rear bumper trim, slide the C1 mounting brackets into place, and re-secure with the factory hardware plus the included carriage bolts. Then simply plug the OEM-molded wiring harness directly into the factory tail light connector — no custom wiring or splicing required. Route and secure any loose wiring with the included zip ties.
