Is this cover waterproof? The BAKFlip MX4 features EPDM perimeter seals and a dual-action tailgate seal for maximum water resistance. While it provides excellent weather protection, BAK Industries recommends using the included drain tubes, as no tonneau cover is 100% waterproof under all conditions.

Can I drive with the cover open? Yes. Fold the panels forward against the cab and secure them with the integrated prop rod clips. The cover can be safely driven at highway speeds in the fully open position, and your 3rd brake light remains visible in all positions.
